The Xbox Series X/S were finally released earlier this month. Microsoft seems to have decided not to wait long and released an update that is available for download on consoles right now - not just for the next generation, but also for the Xbox One. The November Xbox system update will bring some of the features fans have been asking for, including more backgrounds, an auto HDR indicator, and the ability to preload games from Xbox Game Pass.
The update is quite interesting - for example, the new backgrounds make personalized embroidery of the home screen using different colors or animations. Interestingly, the new background options also include some settings from previous versions of the console. Besides this useful function, it uses the Auto HDR. This is necessary in order to add HDR mode to older games that lack this feature.
A special icon has also been added to show if the game has been adopted for next generation consoles. Also, you can add your family members to your account and preload games through the mobile app.
