Ghostwire: Tokyo PS5 release postponed

Ghostwire: Tokyo
Ghostwire, the highly anticipated PS5 exclusive, won't be out until 2022.

The long-awaited horror game Ghostwire: Tokyo will not be released until 2022, according to Tango Gameworks. The release was scheduled for October this year, but fans will have to wait - all due to the volatility of the pandemic.

"We pay special attention to the health of our employees," said Tango Gameworks. According to the developers, they are using the extra time to make the game even better. Recall that in Ghostwire: Tokyo you will have to use your paranormal powers to fight the ghosts that have invaded Tokyo. A special feature of the game is spells, for the use of which your character will need to use elements of Japanese martial arts.

The game was announced at E3 back in 2019, as an exclusive to the PlayStation 5 platform. Interestingly, in 2020, Microsoft acquired the parent company Tango Gameworks, but this did not affect the terms of the release of the game for the console from Sony. However, it is reported that a year after the release, the game should appear on the Xbox.
