The summer season of gaming exhibitions is gradually approaching. Already in early June, we are waiting for an online exhibition Summer Game Fest, which promises "at least a dozen" announcements from the largest game developers. After, from 12 to 15 June, one of the largest exhibitions E3 will take place. Recall that this year the organizers decided to move the event completely to the online format. In addition, we are waiting for separate presentations from publishers such as Ubisoft, EA, as well as the PC Gaming Show and Future Games Show. The season promises to be eventful, but Microsoft and Bethesda plan to host their own show outside of E3.
According to Le Figaro, the joint presentation of the two companies will take place "in a couple of weeks". Details are not reported, but the head of Microsoft Studios has confirmed this information, which means, most likely, the event will really take place very soon.
Of course, a shared presentation for Microsoft and Bethesda makes sense. We will remind, Bethesda became part of the corporation in September last year - the deal then amounted to more than $7 billion. Even despite the fact that Bethesda retains certain independence, it is still an extremely strong trump card in the hands of Microsoft, so the joint presentation of new products will be a good opportunity to declare itself. Many gamers are expecting details about the acclaimed sci-fi RPG called Starfield - according to rumors, the game could be released in the first half of 2022. If this is true, then at the summer presentation, we can count on at least more detailed information about the game - not to mention the trailer. As a reminder, Starfield will be the largest Bethesda game in 25 years. Plus, there are rumors that the company won't be releasing it for the PlayStation 5.
