Halo Franchise Go Offline

Halo 2
The developers made the decision to end support for Halo on Xbox as soon as Halo Infinite was released in 2021.

It seems that 2020 brought sad news - in a year, Microsoft plans to end support for the legendary Halo on Xbox 360. This decision will affect the entire franchise, disconnecting all 7 Halo games from the network.

In an official statement, the company says that, unfortunately, it takes too many resources to continue supporting the game - in addition, the number of active players in the franchise continues to decline. It is important that you can still play Halo on your Xbox 360 - however, without online features.

Support for the franchise will end immediately after the release of Halo Infinite on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows - recall that earlier the developers planned to release a new part this year, but it was decided to postpone the release due to shortcomings.
