Everything you need to know before playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Assassin's Creed Valhalla
It's time to dive into the world of the next part of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla franchise! We have prepared for you 10 tips that will help you not to get lost at the start of the game.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla was released quite recently, but it is already very popular among gamers. If you still haven't played the new part of the franchise, you may be discouraged by the number of quests and skills, as well as the really huge map in the game. To be ready for anything, we have prepared 10 things for you that will be useful to know before starting the game.

  • Collectible trophies. Game offers you a really large number of weapons, but you will have to try hard to collect your collection! This means that you have to pay attention to all the details during the game in order to have enough resources to create new weapons. So, pay attention to all highlighted objects, use the special vision of your assassin, be careful when hunting or traveling in the mountains: for example, you can break a pile of stones in order to get new resources.
  • Rap battles between Vikings? The next detail that you definitely won't to miss is the real rap battles! Perhaps, this is the last thing that could be expected in the gameplay of Assassin's Creed. If you have enough charisma points, it will help open new dialogues with the characters, some dialogues will really amuse you.
  • The mystical atmosphere of the Vikings. In addition to the main quests, do not forget about additional tasks, some of which may not even be marked on your map. All of them are associated with the mystical atmosphere of the Viking culture and will give you full immersion in the world around you. Be attentive to all the objects that will meet you on the way: if something looks cool on the map, it is possible that something interesting may be hidden there!
  • A huge number of skills. One of perhaps the most interesting features of Assassin's Creed Valhalla is its large enough skill tree that you can develop interactively. Skills may relate to combat or the personality of your hero - it all depends only on your imagination. The development of this or that skill will open up new interactions for you, so study well everything that comes to hand. In particular, you will definitely need the books that you can find along the entire journey - usually, they are hidden somewhere in secluded corners. Having found them, you can master this or that skill that will definitely come in handy over time.
  • Be talkative! This might be a pretty trivial advice for an RPG, but trust me - it's worth it! Talk to all characters, especially new ones, that get in your way - someone can give you useful information, and someone can teach you something new. You can even use a wolf in battle if you speak to it! Plus, some characters in Valhalla can simply die, so spend plenty of time with your favorites.
  • Take care of safety. Don't forget to strengthen your own home! As long as you stay in one place, you can simply be robbed, so do not lose your vigilance. Besides, take care of strong ammunition for your hero.
  • Hunting system. In the course of the game, you will encounter many wild animals that you can kill. In addition to new resources, you can also sell their skins, collecting your own "collection" and opening new points of sale.
  • Do not forget to "pump" your weapon. Do not forget that you can always exchange the items you find for improvements for your weapons. To do this, you should look into the assassins' hideout, where you can get, for example, poison for your weapons. This is very useful, especially when dealing with fairly strong enemies.
  • "Cat's footprint". There is also a special cat in the game world that hates people but loves sailors very much! If you complete Oswald's quest line, the cat will become attached to you and follow along with you.
  • How to find the yellow boat. In one of the initial missions, after the quest with Erningstone, you can find a yellow boat, a real needle in a haystack. All you need is to use special vision and follow one of the "yellow" ghosts that will lead you to the swamps. However, there will not be any yellow boat, so you will have to continue on until you finally find a drakkar covered in yellow paint. Inside you will need to read a note - and that's it!
