Not so long ago, the studio Vicarious Visions teamed up with Blizzard and, according to the latest data, is now working on a remake of the legendary Diablo 2. Blizzard's management made this decision while the main part of the team is working on the new Diablo 4.
Recall that the last high-profile release of the company - Warcraft III, was criticized for the rather low quality and minor improvements compared to the previous part. Blizzard has been criticized for its decisions in the past, so it appears that the company has decided to change its policy.
The remake has not yet been officially announced, but it may keep players' attention while they wait for Diablo 4. However, Vicarious Visions has a new game in the Tony Hawk series that has brought the studio huge popularity, so it is not yet clear how the developers will combine work on two high-profile projects at once.
